Integrated Energy System Transition

In many policy discussions, energy transition is approached sector by sector. For instance mobility, electricity generation, heating for homes and offices and industrial heat.

With the focus on the 2030 policy goals of EU member states, energy system transition is no longer only about the power sector but also involves other parts of energy supply and demand system. Hydrogen and electricity may play an important role in the future energy system, not only in NW Europe but also in China and elsewhere.

We will explore the different or divergent future energy and climate strategies both in NW Europe, US and elsewhere. These are discussed against the background of growing geopolitical uncertainties.

The training is aimed at energy professionals who are new in the field.
